最近多國都發表發現新物種。墨西哥發現六種體型非常細小的蛙類，最小的體長只有15mm；美國發現新種馬陸及在深海的水母 ；印度有一種新的跳蛛，而澳洲亦有新的蛙類。這些新物種大多都面臨各種威脅，科學家仍需更多資源去研究牠們的重要性及如何作保育。
Many countries have discovered new species recently. Six tiny frog species have been found in Mexico and the smallest one is only around 15mm long. New species of millipede and a deep-sea jellyfish were discovered in the US; there is also a new species of jumping spider in India and a new frog species in Australia. Many of them are facing various threats; more research and study are required to learn more about their importance and the way to protect them.
