本月初斯里蘭卡西面海岸有過百條領航鯨擱淺，是當地有史以來最大型的野生動物擱淺個案。海軍及當地居民多日來連夜拯救，亦有水上活動中心借出水上摩托車，合力把約120條領航鯨帶離淺水岸邊，回到較深水海域。Over a hundred of pilot whales stranded on Sri Lanka’s western coast earlier this month, and it was the country’s largest mass stranding. the navy and locals joined together to rescue these pilot whales, and a local water sport club even provided their jet skis to help. After recusing day and night for days, they successfully helped around 120 pilot whales back into the ocean.
