Endangered black-eared miner inhabits woodland in South Australia, which has been cleared for agricultural purposes. the woodland turned into open landscape and attracted yellow-throated miner, and lead to two species cross-breeding. Breeding between two species affects the genetic integrity of them and created more risks to the black-eared miner.
