歐斑鳩是英國最瀕危的雀鳥，亦是歐洲唯一會長途遷徙的斑鳩。牠們主要棲息於歐洲及非洲西部，但農業及畜牧業等發展破壞了牠們的棲息地，牠們遷徙途經地中海地區時亦被大量狩獵活動射殺。2013至2017年期間，牠們的數量再下跌51%。

European Turtle-dove is Britain’s most endangered bird. It is also the only long distance migratory dove in Europe. They mainly stay in europe and west Africa, but agriculture and livestock developments have destroyed their habitats. During migrations, they are also being hunted heavily in the midetemrranean area as well. Between 2013-2017, their population has declined 51%.
