Eastern mosquitofish were introduced around the world for mosquito control and became one of the worst invasive species; mosquitofish tend to eat tadpoles and other native amphibians. A recent study created a robotic bass to scare mosquitofish and discovered that with the robotic bass, the mosquitofish become less active and reproducing less as they spend more time worrying.
