Conservation groups demand to stop all logging until scientists get a better understanding of impact of the fire. Some of the logging areas are known as habitat of threatened species affected by the fire. The Supreme Court has ordered a halt to logging in part of Victoria’s central highlands, and a larger injunction will be sought next month.
