Cerrado is a large tropical savanna region in Brazil; it is the world’s most diverse savanna. However, half of the Cerrado has converted to cattle ranches, soy plantation and other croplandsStudy found large mammals like the pumas, giant anteaters and manned wolves can only be found in area without any human development and activities. To preserve biodiversity and protect these threatened species, the land managers need to fully protect the park area.
