In Australia, around 4000 plants have not be recorded with photograph in the wild, which is around 20% of the plant species. Many of them only have drawing and illustrated record. However, with the help of citizen scientists and digital photography, more plants are photographed by the public. In around a year of time, scientists are able to identified nearly 10% of those species that without photo record, and these data are important for scientist to understand and protect the diversity of the nature.
