Two baby eurasian beavers were born in a Scotland national park for the first time in 400 years. 5 adults beavers were reintroduced to that national park just eight months ago, and two baby beavers were born, making this a successful highlight of the project. Beavers had been extinct in Britain for 400 years until 20 years ago; they were being hunted for their fur, meat and scent oil.
