Snow leopard used to hunt for prey like the blue sheep, ibex or pika in Dolpa, a Himalayan district in western Nepal. However, with the disappearance of these wild prey, they hunt for livestock, which created conflicts with human and sometimes killed by farmers. A Nepali conservationist has been working with local people to build leopard-proof corrals, install lights to scare off leopards as well as training leopard spotters. The conservationist hopes to train local as spotters and guides to build a snow leopard tourism program, and help the local earn their living in a way that support conservations of both wildlife and human
