In the lion farm in South Africa, lion cubs would be sent to petting farms for entertainment when they are only few days old; juvenile would be used for walking with tourists activities. Adult lions are too risky for tourists, so they are put in small cages, waiting to be used for canned hunting. after being shot by the paying hunter, the body parts and bones would be sold or turn into trophies. due to inbreeding in the farms, many lions are born with defects, and some farms would allow lions to cross-breed with tigers. South Africa is the only country that allow export of lion bones, and there are over 200 lion farms in the country.
