Slender-billed curlew is the first bird from mainland Europe, north Africa and west Asia to declare extinct. It was a migratory shorebird and was last spotted in north Morocco in 1995. based on analysis, researchers believe there is a 99.6% chance the curlew went extinct about the time it was last recorded in 1995. agricultural expansion, loss of coastal wetlands, hunting, pollutions, climates changes could be possible factor for their extinction.
