Over 250 native lizards and snakes were seized by Australian police. The criminal syndicate planned to export them to Hong Kong. Four people were arrested. These reptiles were kept in small containers and in bad conditions. They were taken to examine by vet before bring released back into the wild. Hong Kong is one of the major global transit points of illegal live animal trade.
