In Canada, moose in national parks are trying to lick salt on cars and roads to consume minerals to maintain their health. normally they eat soil instead, but the salt on the cars are too convenient. However, the national park highly discourages drivers to stop and let the moose lick the salt, because moose are massive, having them near cars and on the roads are dangerous for both the moose and human.
