An AI-enabled fish-identifying gate has used to stop invasive Pacific salmon to enter the Norway’s rivers. The invasive Pacific salmon is competing food and spawning grounds with the native Atlantic salmon with their faster reproductive cycle; it also brings new diseases to the native salmon. This gate helps to visually identify two fish species, allowing the native salmon to swim upriver from the sea, but divert the invasive ones into another tank for removal.
