A theatre in England has decided to temporarily stop selling pork products at its café during the live performance period of Peppa Pig, the popular cartoon pig character. Items such as sausages and bacon will be replaced with plant‑based alternatives. The decision was made after an animal rights organisation argued that serving pork while children are watching a show about a cartoon pig is hypocritical.
