Ocean water temperature is too high due to climate change and is killing coral. Over 50% of the corals in the Great Barrier Reef have died in the past 25 years. many marine creatures rely on the coral reefs; it is an important place for living, foraging and reproduction. The Great Barrier Reef is the largest coral reef in the world, but the biodiversity and number of marine creatures have dropped significantly due to the loss of coral. It is necessary to reduce greenhouse gas emissions as soon as possible to reduce the impact on corals.
